Packaging

Export-grade packing and quality control, then a cold chain that does not break between our facility and the buyer's door.

Export-grade packing

Every batch is packed to the standard of the market it is going to. Grades and weights are recorded on the box, so the chain of custody stays legible from our facility all the way to the buyer's door.

Quality control

Stock is inspected before it is packed and again before it ships. Checks cover shell condition, colour and handling standard, the same criteria the grading floor works to, applied a second time once the product is in its final format.

Cold chain to market

The cold chain separates into two routes, and product is committed to one of them once it has been graded. Live stock is held and moved in condition. Everything else goes the cryogenic and fresh route: either cryogenically frozen, or packed fresh-chilled in iced crates.

Both routes travel refrigerated. From the moment a batch is graded, the chain is unbroken through to shipment.
